Martin (Marty) has spent more than 25 years in the corporate arena where he has held senior leadership positions in finance and general management, incuding President of Ingersoll-Rand Security & Safety Canada. Throughout his career, Marty has specialized in business transformations, strategic development and cultural shifts within global organizations. His roles have included sales, operational and financial responsibility in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. He has served on the board of directors of Ingersoll-Rand Canada and its various subsidiaries, and acts as an advisory board member for a number of privately-held small businesses and charitable organizations. Marty received his M.A. - Judicial Administration, and a B. Admin. with Honours from Brock University.

Marty is also actively involved in the development of private equity investment opportunities. The investment profile is focused on well-managed, profitable and entrepeneurial businesses. His investment group provides support to business owners dealing with the conflicting realities of growth opportunities and transition issues through the contribution of both equity and management experience. As a managing partner of Genesis Capital, Marty fulfills a consultative role in the business providing insight on strategic issues, operational improvement opportunities and the development of high performance organizations, enabling current management to continue with their successful implementation of the business plan.
