John Smye
CEO, Nadiscorp Logistics Group Inc.

Mr. Smye has held many senior management positions across a variety of industries. He was President and CEO at American Hospital Supply, President of Dafoe and Dafoe, President of PCL Packaging and CEO at Loomis Transportation.

John engineered profitability improvements at all the companies he led.

A prime example being Loomis Transportation, which John took from a money-losing company to the most profitable courier company in Canada, and the most profitable of any of the parent company’s 28 businesses.

In 2000 John acquired Nadiscorp and in 2001 he engineered the acquisition of Burnham Canada. The resulting company, Nadiscorp Logistics Group Inc. ("NLGI"), is a full service turnkey 3PL with 250 employees and 1.2M square feet of facilities. Nadiscorp operates as three distinct business units (Integrated Supply Chain, High Value Services and Warehousing) and John has built a strong team by hiring and developing excellent operations managers for the divisions. NLGI is poised to grow in line with John’s vision and focus.

John holds a B.Comm from McMaster University and qualified for his CA at Price Waterhouse.
